Prime Habitat
Adams County offers diverse topography. You will have the opportunity
to hunt corn and soybean fields, winter wheat, and food plots of
clover, alfalfa, and oats. These food sources, which are favorites
with deer, lie amidst huge wood lots of mature hardwoods, rolling
hills, ridge tops, and draws.
Many of our properties provide year-round sources of water ranging
from meandering streams and creek beds to fresh water springs and
ponds. The combination of these areas provides necessary havens
that keep trophy whitetail deer and turkey on our properties.
At Trophy Quest we pride ourselves on our strict
management practices. We have obtained properties that have had
little or no hunting pressure. We plant numerous food plots in areas
that will keep the deer and turkey on our farms.
We have set a management standard of 130” Pope & Young
or better on our whitetail hunts and strictly enforce this standard.
Our high standard of deer management practices provides the hunters
with opportunities to see and harvest true Illinois trophy whitetail.
We greatly encourage the harvest of does on our properties as this
ensures a proper buck-to-doe ratio in our herds.
For every doe harvested, you qualify for the chance to win one
of two free hunts or coupons for 25% off the price of a hunt.
